How to own a Nava Home
 
Experience a custom builder with a difference

We're a custom builder and are proud to offer you a designer home. We make it easy to start bringing your dream home to life.

Once you have decided on your designer Nava Home a $1000 deposit will lock in your base price for 30 days. This will be subject to a sub-floor costs, building restrictions and building envelope. Then, simply follow these easy steps.

Once you have decided to proceed with Nava Homes, you'll simply need to:

  • Sign an agreement.
  • Pay your $1000 deposit.
  • Supply a clear copy of Land Contract With Title and Section 32 and building covenants

To ensure the process runs smoothly and quickly, Nava Homes will:

  • Arrange a site investigation and the property information required for foundations data.
  • Prepare a floor plan sketch of your design.

You'll then be required to:

  • Approve your new home's floor plan sketch.
  • A further $1,500 deposit will also need to be paid
Following your approval, Nava Homes will:
  • Prepare a full design drawing with internal and external elevations.
  • Help you to complete a colour selection for your new home.
Then, all you'll need to do is:
  • Approve the complete drawing including external and internal elevations.
Nava Homes will then:
  • Prepare your Summary of Works. This will complete all your costs.
Now, you'll be required to:
  • Sign the Summary Of Works to enable us to prepare your contract, specifications and drawings.
  • A further $1,500 deposit will also be required at this point.
We'll then:
  • Prepare your contracts, final specifications and drawings.
And you'll need to:
  • Sign the final contracts, specifications and drawings.
  • Pay the balance of 5% deposit on contract signing.
  • Provide a signed copy of your contracts to your bank.
  • Supply a letter of full finance approval.
  • Provide proof of ownership of land.
  • Land ownership and finance approval must be supplied before construction can commence.
Nava Homes will then finalise the process so we can start creating your new custom home, by taking these steps:
  • Complete your working drawings.
  • Complete your energy rating.
  • Assist you with obtaining developer's approval.
  • Apply for a building permit.
  • Order any materials required for the construction of your new home.
  • Allocate a construction manager and a building supervisor to your home.
